I am unable to update my iTunes to 11.1.5. Help?

Every time I try and update my iTunes on my PC to 11.1.5, I'm unable to. I click "Help", "Check for Updates", it tells me there is a new version and I click "Download iTunes," "Install 2 Items," and "Accept," it just takes me back to the "Install 2 Items" screen. I have Windows Vista.

In situations where Apple Software Update isn't bringing down installers properly we can try using the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer files (from the download location at the Apple website) to do the update. (They are currently at version 11.1.5.5, the same version as the installers that are supposed to be being brought down by Apple Software Update for you.)

If the update using the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) also doesn't work, and you get an error message, let us know what the error message says.
