My iPad no longer recognizes my Zagg keyboard. Turned it off and on several times. One suggestion in manual is a dead battery. Where is a battery on a Zagg case? The iPad battery is fully charged.

Ok. I misunderstood.

The device is listed on the bluetooth screen? And says "Not Connected" ? Then you tap the device name.

If it won't connect to the device, tap the circled i, and then Forget the device, and then follow the manufacturers instructions for the keyboard to place it in pairing mode.

It came with a cable. So if you still have the packaging look there. I believe it's a micro USB b maybe? (Although I have the first gen folio so the cables may have changed with the models)

E-mail them and ask them. My exchanges with the company have been very friendly and i've found them responsive.

The battery charging port isn't visible when your keyboard is in the folio. Slide the keyboard out and on the side near the top you should see the hole for the cable. You can charge it off USB or if you have an iPhone or such power block, plug the USB cable into that.

My experience is that the zagg keys need to be charged 2-3 times a year.

I suppose if you don't have the cable you don't have the charger either.

I finally called Zagg customer support. They walked me through a few very easy steps and now my keyboard stays connected.
