missing projects after uploading

I have been working on a project from a client using FCPX 10.1.1.

I went to upload it to Vimeo and left for dinner while it did its job. I came home and the file was uploaded sussecfully, but the project I have been working on is compleatly gone from FCP. Where did it go? All the files are stil there, but all the hours of work that I did... TOTALLY GONE!!.... Its still titled the same in the Projects, but there is just NOTHING inside. Please Help!

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

i've tried all the backups - even the ones from when I KNOW i was working on the project... and nothing. so confused

Similar problems have come up recently.

Sometimes the library database can become corrupt. Probably, everything is still there inside the library bundled.

If that is the case, you can solve the problem by following the advice I gave in this thread:
