Can't install itunes error 1603 & 1305

Got my new 30g ipod video today but can't install itunes on my PC with windows XP. At first it comes up with error 1305. Error reading from file verify that file exists and that you can access it.

It then goes on to say error 1603 fatal error during installation. Consult windows installer helpo (msi.chm) or MSDN

Can anyone help solve this problem?

Thanks in advance

Error 1305 is usualy something to do with the CD drive or the media.
Are you trying to install from the CD?
You can download iTunes here -> http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/itunes605.html

Error 1603 is usually a disk space problem. See here -> http://consumer.installshield.com/kb.asp?id=Q111019
How much free space is on your C: drive?
Start -> My computer.
