Verizon iphone 5C on sprint

I purchased a brand new never been used iphone 5C from a friend. It was through Verizon. Will I be able to use the phone on my sprint account? And if not what can I do because I have sprint and cannot switch.

iPhone 5c, iOS 7, Model- A1532

No. You can't bring your own iPhone to Sprint. You must purchase a Sprint iPhone.

Either get your money back for that phone or sell it and use the proceeds to buy a Sprint phone.
