Mar 20, 2014 5:51 PM in response to Matt Cliftonby mila meitene,Thanks Matt. I followed your instructions but my menu did not have Movie as an option, just Movie Clips. So I tried that and was able to gather about ten. I tried to delete, or manually drag into the trash in the bottom right corner of my screen but the movie clip didn't cooperate. I know I must have 30-40 Movies hidden among thousands of photos. Do you have any other suggestions?
Thanks again.

Mar 20, 2014 5:57 PM in response to mila meiteneby LarryHN,Provice details - without knowing the version of iPhoto tha tyou have we are only making guesses - Matt's sugestion is the most likely - but with details guesses woudl not be necessary
To trash photos in iPhoto you do not drag them to the system trash (the trash in the lower right hand corner) - you select the image in an event and press the delete key and empth the Photo trash (and in newer versions of ipHoto the system trash too)
If you have an older version of iPhoto try a smart album with keyword is movie

My macbook is about 5 years old. I also tried to drag into i photo trash, I couldn't make the movie clip stay in. I tired the smart album again but movie was not an option for key words, there was only movie clips. I may have to go into the Apple store again and try to work it out there unless any one of you has a good idea. I'm not that fluent with all of the features, sad but true after all thse years.... Thanks again.
