Wifi hotspot connection problems with my mac

Hey there,

I just got a new WiFi hotspot, it's a Verizon Jetpack 4G made by Pantech.

It connects fine with my work PC and I get speeds of over 10M. I have gotten the mac to connect a couple of times but it is so slow it times out on simple web pages. Most of the time it just says it can't connect.

I have removed the wifi network from network, wifi, advanced and added it back in, rebooted the mac and the wifi hotspot and that didn't help.

Any ideas?
