I have just bought a brand new 5s... and I have started from scratch (no restore from previous iPhone). I've just installed photos... and I already have 2.8GB of "other" storage. What on earth is going on?!? I bought a 5s to solve my 4s' "other" problem!! Any ideas gratefully recieved.

Anything between 1 or 2 GB is normal. You won't be able to delete it to 0 GB
YOu can use the search function at the top right of the forum, look for the green checkmark,
this topic has come up numerous of time already.

I've seen loads of topics on it, and I understand you can't get it to zero, but for a new phone I was expecting c. 700mb. 2.4GB is huge. Apple really should look into better ways of people managing this storage as it's extremely frustraing. If it was understandable, and manageable that would be one thing, but this is obviously a strange fault. I've only installed photos: 13GB worth, and it has jumped to 2.4GB. Just plain wrong.
