Trouble with the new Pages

Hi Apple Community,

I recently purchased a new iMac with the updated iWorks software. I have been syncing files from my old MacBook that used the iWorks 2009 version. When I open files created with the 2009 version of Pages, the formatting of the document is slightly distorted. Is there any way to avoid this? If not, is it possible to download the old iWorks? I would install it with the disc, but the new iMac does not come with a disc drive. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Pages 5 has over 100 fetaures missing, so does a poor job of converting previous Pages files.

If you migrated from your old Mac, then you should already have Pages '09 in your Applications/iWork folder.

Thanks! I didn't migrate my old Mac, I guess I will.

Too bad about the new iWorks, I use it so much. I wish it was a better update.
