BBC TV download to iTunes on a MacBook Air ok and able to view on air ok. However, attempts to drag and drop to iPod Classic not possible. The only difference with this download and other successful downloads is that it was purchased in HD form. Does anyone know why HD would prevent moving it to an iPod Classic?

HD videos purchased from the iTunes Store are offered in 720p or 1080p and are compatible with iPhone 4 or later, iPad, iPod touch (4th generation or later), Apple TV, and computers. You may need to download your purchased video from iTunes in the Cloud in a lower resolution for your device.
Use the steps in the section titled "Download previously purchased content in a lower resolution" in the following article to download the Standard Definition version of your videos:

Thanks for the response. I did as you said and the videos were downloaded again with the option to treat them as full HD, HD720 or SD. I selected SD and they were transferred to my classic without a hitch. Thanks again.
