I'm looking at options to be able to view and fully function my Pc on a monitor in a separate room. I have seen a few videos but am none the wiser.
Is this possible?
Does it function without lag?
Does this include audio?
Are there any restrictions?

AirPlay mirroring is not for Windows.
AirPlay is a feature in iTunes and is available on Windows, but to mirror whatever is on your display using AirPlay... that's a Mac only feature.
Is there no work around with http://www.airsquirrels.com/airparrot/ I have seen a few videos but not sure on the realiability and if this includes audio.
Yes, it includes audio. No, it is not reliable - choppy/laggy is what I hear.
I may need to look into hdmi transmitter/receiver packages as I don't think I will use the Apple TV functions but I know how reliable apple is so thought it may be an option. Thanks for your speedy response.
