can't login to amazon

So I've been trying to login to my amazon account numerous times today and all it says is "email and password connection error". I typed in the numbers and it hasn't worked. I have tried EVERYTHING to get into the account. Clearing cookies, using every browser on my mac, adding DNS numbers in the DNS servers part of my network in system prefrences, and even reseting my password 6 TIMES!!!! I am up to date on all of the browsers to. What do I do?!?!?!

I have the exact same issue and it is NOT amazon or hackers. I can log in to any other account on mac and to amazon on my desktop windows. this is a brand new macbook pro that I purchased and was NEVER able to log in to amazon yet- not from safari and NOT from chrome.... it seems like some security setup issue on this notebook that prevents me from loging in. Resseting passwords, clearing cookies, and even verifying and repairing permissions doesnt help... called for apple support, couldnt help either... What do I do?

Problem with Amazon here as well. Chrome, Forefox and Omniweb work, Safari does not. Have reset Safari, disabled all extensions to no avail.


Here's what my screen looks like. Been trying for hours, this is as far as it get's after loading for 20 minutes. Issue is only when you need a log-in or checking out.
