Westinghouse LCM-20v5- DVI does not work.

I have this display for my Mac Mini. The VGA works fine. Today I went out and bought a DVI cable to connect between the Mini and my display and when I connected everything and turned the Mini and dispaly on, it said no signal.

According to image below, the Philips DVI cable I bought is DVI-D (single link).

You have the correct cable. I can think of two possibilities. Westinghouse may have failed to provide a proper EDID on the digital connector. Why not just use it in VGA mode? Or, if that bothers you, you may have to use a product like SwitchRes X to build the missing timing that Westinghouse may have not included.

The other possibility is that you got a defective DVI cable. Do you have another system you can try the DVI cable with?
