GarageBand on iPhone 5 - Sounds limitation

Hi there,

I've recently bought the GarageBand app for my iPhone 5. The app is really well done, with all the options and instruments you can play and even record, it's stunning. Since I'm a musician myself, I wanted to use it with my MIDI keyboard, connecting it to my iPhone with a iRig PRO, to be able to use the instruments in the app with my little keyboard. It sounds really nice once you try it, but there's a little problem in some sounds: when I play big chords (7 or 8 notes) using the Grand Piano or the Rhodes sound, I can only hear 6 notes. It doesn't let me play more than 6 notes at the time, so when I do sustained arpeggios for instance, the first notes I play just stop playing after I exceed the 6 notes limit, just like in bigger chord, I can only hear 6 notes out of all the ones I play.

Can you please tell me why or give me a solution to that?

Thank you,

Rafael Godinho
