How can you access a private course from a mac/pc?

I have set up a test course in iTunes course manager and have succesfully accessed it on my iPhone using the sharing link. However, I don't seem to be able to access the same course in iTunes on my Mac. The link only works on my phone, not on my Mac. Also, the course doesn't seem to sync to iTUnes on my Mac when syncing the phone.

Is there a solutions to this?
