When I upgraded to Mavericks I did not set up my iCloud credentials on this laptop because I did not want those services on the laptop but every time I log into the computer I get an iCloud login box, how can I get rid of that annoyance?

It seems to slow down my computer for about a minute or two until I cancel the iCloud login box.
