Q: OS X Mavericks 10.9.2 Will NOT Install

I've read posts for days, cycled the system many times. Nothing Works. Please help!

I get the dreaded 513 error, won't download due to security issues.

I've downloaded the 10.9.2 and the Combo updates and tried running them outside of Update App but they give no indication that any issues occured.

My system has run just fine for years till I got this Maverick that promises many wonderful things but doesn't deliver for me.

Yes I have Time Machine backups daily for the past month or so...

What are the steps to resolve this?

iMac (27-inch Mid 2010), OS X Mavericks (10.9.1), 8 gb ram
