Q: How do I get a refund for an app that I purchased when I am disappointed with it and won't use it (pixtr)?

I purchased the app "Pixtr" after seeing an advertisement for it and think it's a waste of money - it only slightly alters things and it's not worth the $2.99.  How do I get a refund - do I have to go through Pixtr or does Apple/iTunes have a policy for refunding "bad apps" or apps that don't do what they claim.  ?

Your first obligation is to contact the developer through their customer service link on the app's page in the Mac App Store and try to resolve issues of the app not working correctly.

Apple considers all sales to be final. Apple has been known to refund one app per account. Is this the sale you want to use your one possible refund with? If so, there is a Report a Problem link on the emailed receipt you get about 24 hours after your purchase is made. Use the link to make your request.
