Q: How do I enlarge all the type on my Mac Air?

The type/fonts on my Mac book air are about a size 8. That's just about all type no matter what program I'm using.

How does one go about enlarging globally fonts?

Old eyes need at least 12 points.

"Command +" doesn't seem to do the trick.

Hopefully, the font size isn't something that Apple is now trying to control for me.
