Please provide a valid payment card? I provided a mastercard.

I tried to connect my apple id with my mastercard and it says that it is not a valid payment method in my country. Mastercard is used all over the world isn't it and I don't know how to solve this. Please help. Btw I am from Nepal.

Might be a region issue > Accepted forms of payment

Well I went through the article and I saw three cards as options to choose from and they were visa, mastercard and american express. So then why is my mastercard not a valid payment in my country? Thank you for the link to the article.
