which network connection for Apple TV

I'm about to take delivery of an Apple TV 3rd generation and would be grateful for your advice on the optimum way of connecting it to my home network. The main use will be watching Netflix on a (smart but no Netflix) TV, secondary use streaming music via WiFi from a Mac Mini to the smart TV. Maybe also a little "casting" from iOS devices to the smart TV.

My network - everything works well :-) ...

* ISP-supplied/configured modem router (wifi *disabled* by me) with Ethernet connections to smart TV and Time Capsule (TC)

* TC is in Bridge mode. All other clients connect via WiFi to the TC.

I'm thinking my best bet is to connect the Apple TV via Ethernet to the modem router for the simplest path from Netflix's servers to the Apple TV (and via HDMI obviously from the Apple TV to the smart TV). Would there be any advantage to instead connect the Apple TV via ethernet to the TC or via WiFi to the TC?

thanks for your help

Bill
