Q: Bluetooth (MAP) & MyChevy Radio

I have an iPhone 5 and it is Bluetooth connected to my 2014 Camaro thru MyChevy.  It allows me to speak and make phone calls but will not accept texting option.  Do I have to turn on the MAP option or is it already available.  Am I missing something?

iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.6

    Hi Mario49,

I did see this chart already, which prompted me to ask if the MAP option needed to be turned on because it is not allowing me to text message.  I get the message that text messaging is not available on this phone.  I have an iPhone 5 so according to this chart I should be able to.

There is nothing to turn on. The iPhone supports MAP. That doesn't mean Chevy implemented it in their system in a way that works.  Talk to your dealer.
