Screen Saver

Question

When the screen goes to "saver" it goes blank instead of a screen saver. When I turn it back on, it makes me log in again. What is up with that?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

It sounds like your display sleep timer is set to a shorter time than your screen saver timer.

You can adjust your display sleep timer in System Preferences -> Energy Saver

And in Security & privacy/general you can prevent asking the password again.
