Mar 21, 2014 6:43 PM in response to Carolina186by vazandrew,That means it is having trouble connecting to the network. Make sure location is set directly. Go into settings - general - network and ensure DNS is set to automatic. Make sure router is up to date. If on wifi try ethernet.

Apr 20, 2014 10:33 PM in response to Carolina186by skollieboy,I had this problem and tried everytihng that others had posted. Then someone mentioned that the problem may be with the wireless internet connection. So I simply plugged the apple tv directly into the ethernet, and voila! - worked like a charm. This may not work for you. I suggest you google 'apple tv set date time' to find many more current responses than on this list
