How do I fix my ringtone breaking after restarting my phone?

I use GarageBand to create my ringtones. And whenever my phone restarts for whatever reason, the ringtone changes back to the default even though it still shows the custom ringtone is being used. Creating a new one helps but I can't possibly have my ringtone library full of songs. Setting it to another ringtone made by GarageBand doesn't seem to work either.
