automatic ibook library distribution

Hi There

Does anyone know if it's possible to sync a library of corporate PDF files to a remote iPad using email or a corporate iTunes Account?

We have a requirement to publish some health & safety information to a dozen or so mobile users out in the field and it would be great if we could use iBooks to house this info. I am puzzled as to whether we could send content to the users via email and have it automatically open (and store for long term) in iBooks?

Any help / advice would be awesome, thanks.
