Mac Pro Adc Displays

Just ran into this problem myself. The sad answer right now is, no it's not possible. The DVI connectors on the ADC adapter are too wide. It's physically impossible to get two to plug in. I called Apple about this issue and the 2nd tier tech is looking into possible solutions for me. You might want to do the same as their is power in numbers. I knew I couldn't be the only person in the universe with this issue.

I've got a DrBott DVIator and Apple's VGA - DVI both hooked up to the NVidia card. The issue might be with Apple's ADC - DVI and the solution might be to try DrBott's.

Don't you mean a DVI to VGA adapter?

DVI to DVI. It uses a small DVI plug to leave room for a larger DBI plug next to it for cards with two DVI connectors close together.

If you have an ADC to DVI adapter for both of your ADC displays, and use the DVI extension cable that's included with the Mac Pro, you can connect both displays.

Pay attention closely.

If you have an ADC display and you want to connect it to the new Mac Pro, you must buy a different adapter. The ones supplied with the Mac Pro do not connect an ADC display to a DVI Mac Pro. You need to buy one that has a power supply and a USB port. DrBott and Apple make them.

I thought I was perfectly clear - both in this post, and in posts that respond to other similar questions. To quote my post:

If you have an ADC to DVI adapter for both of your ADC displays, and use the DVI extension cable that's included with the Mac Pro, you can connect both displays.

Pay attention to that first line - "If you have an ADC to DVI adapter AND use the DVI extension cable that's included". I am clearly not stating that you can connect an ADC display to a DVI port using the supplied adapter.
