Since upgrading to OSX v10.7 I've lost the ability to connect to my network Printer. In short I have an old (ancient) HP 5mp printer connected to my router via Micro Asanteprint. Worked fine in Leopard. I appreciate that 10.7 no longer has AppleTalk???

Is there a workaround?

iOS 7.0.5

Thanks for the kind reply A. Brody.

I've tried to reinstall the Drivers for the 5MP. It's an old Serial Printer connected via Micro Asante unit. As I recall it was relient on Apple Talk to communicate with the Printer. As this has effectively been removed from OSX Lion I'm at a complete loss on how, if at all possible, to get the Printer to work.

I typed in the Router IP when adding the printer but despite going through the motions says it cannot connect.

Any ideas would be gratefully appreciated.

Kindest regards

Charley
