Opening files problem

Hi everybody, i got a problem to open .zip, .exe and other kind of files like these from internet and says: A problem has occured while opening the file " name of the file " : the data are corrupted.


This message appears for every file that i wanna open. then i have the choice to exit or to continue. If I continue, it asks me to choose an encoding of the file's name to open the archive's one.


PLEASE help me. This problem comes every time download something from internet...

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

hum, i don't download files every days, but i recently tried to download War Thunder ( yes i took care if it was the OSX version 🙂 ) that already run on my mac but that i had deleted. I also tried to download basical software but i didn't intalled them because of this problem.

this problem appears with all kind of files: .zip .gz .rar . exe...


Hum i'm using "the unarchiver" "default"
