Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Recently the animations for when opening Launchpad and Mission Control have been slower than usual. All the other animations seem to working fine and it's just those two which are the problem. Now whenever I try to open either one of them it would take ages and theres no point opening it at all. Is there a file that I could edit ot is there a Terminal command to speed it up?

Please update your profile, as it shows that you are on Mt Lion 10.8.2.
I know that many of us had this lagging as well, including myself. With 10.9.1 and original 10.9, the graphics were a bit lagging. But with the 10.9.2 update, that came out a couple of weeks ago, I haven't seen them lag since.

Enter this in Terminal, for me it was helpful:
defaults write com.apple.dock springboard-show-duration -float 0.1Launchpad and Mission Control animations are slow
