You haven't moved or deleted any of your items from your Mac - you've searched your Mac in case they are now somewhere else on it, not where iTunes is expecting to find them : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1408 ?

If not then do you have a copy of them on your backup of your downloads/library that you can copy them back from ?

If you don't have them on your backup then what you can redownload from the iTunes store will show in the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage

    quick links.jpg

If an item shows there but doesn't have the cloud symbol against it for redownloading then do you still have it listed in the library e.g. if it's a song or film then where you would click on it to play it ? If you do then try deleting it from there and it should then get the cloud icon against it in Purchased for redownloading.

What types of content can be redownloaded varies by country i.e. music, films and/or TV shows can't be redownloaded in all. Also if yo've changed countries since buying an item then you also won't be able to redownload it, nor if the content provider has removed it from the store.
