Rotating AND cropping clips in Final Cut Pro X?

Hi all,

Does anyone know... if you rotate a video clip just slightly, say, 15 degrees counter clockwise.. and you then have black areas (no image) on the upper left and lower right edges.. is it possible to crop the image to remove those areas? When I use the transform tool to rotate a clip, and then switch to the crop tool, when I play the final rendered image, there are still those black areas, even though the image is now cropped tighter. Any thoughts or tricks?
