Mar 26, 2014 12:14 PM in response to braden85by wasemthedream,its asking for my Apple Id and when I enter it, it tells me to use the ID I used when I purchased it, but I never had another Apple Id so I cannot reinstall.
help please

I cannot start the Imac up, it goes straight to grey screen.
I know my pasword and everything but its telling me that its not the id I bought it with and I never had or used any other

I have no clue what that means. If you are the owner of the iMac, which OS is currently installed? Since it appears you have a CD what color is the label and which OS is showing on the label?
