I can send emails but I can not recieve emails neither see my sent email. I have tryed eveything thing :(

Im using Mac Pro i7, and I am trying to configur echange email.

I can send emails but I can not recieve emails neither see my sent email. I have tryed eveything thing 😟

I have checked (Use Autodiscover Service) it dose not work !

then I unchecked it and use ( staffmail.brighton.ac.uk) for both internal & external server, it doest not work also !

I tryed to use same setting which I use in my iphone but nothing work.

my setting as following:

Account setting Tab:

email address: xxx@brighton.ac.uk

Use Autodiscover Service: Selected

outcoming mail service: smtp.brighton.ac.uk

use only this server: Selected

Advanced Tab:

Default setting.

Please Help.

This is the 10.5.x forum, I suppose you're running 10.8.x or 10.9.x... if you don't get an answer here I can ask it be moved if you wish.

After disabling "auto detect" you did set the servers to the same as your iPhone?

5) Problems With Exchange Servers and Apple OSX Mavericks Mail

Some users have reported that Mavericks Mail loads it when you open the Mail app, but then no new messages will appear in the Exchange inbox while app is open. Fetch new mail and the Activity Window show "Synchronizing Inbox" but nothing happens unless you close the app and reopen, then the new mail appears. A solution that seems to have worked for many is to alter the setting "get new messages" from automatically to 5 minutes, and it straightens out the issue.

In Mail's Window Menu, choose Connection Doctor, any red dots for status, if so what is the message?

Then click the Show Details button & Check again.
