so guys, i downloaded the new itunes and it then popped up saying it was restoring my iphone 4 this was the first time this has happened and then when i went onto my iphone once it restored all my photos were gone and i need them back ASAP xx

They have to be somewhere in order to get them back.
Have you imported them to your computer?
Are you using photo stream?
You can try restoring from the last backup. The pics in the camera roll at the time of the last backup should be retrieved.
