having trouble getting recently added music to itunes onto my phone, i have tried everything i can think of. Is there anything else i can do?

Before somebody has to type in a list of things to try why don't you provide a list of things you have tried?
I've just put some new music onto iTunes but i can't seem to download it to my phone? Is there anything i can do?
