How do I make a DVD using MOVAVI converter software in my PC
from a finished iMovie project in my iPad ? Step by step would help.
I know it can be done because it was.

Thank you I have tried (email contact) with quick but limited response. It seems that nobody has written a step by step manual on 'How To'.
I watched as it was done a year ago but can't remember how. There must have been around 20 key strokes involved.
This has become urgent as my iPad (32g) is almost full and I need to free some space.

Thank you I just have. However the site seems to deal with importing DVD to the iPad. I need to get an iMovie project out of the iPad using MOVAVI to a DVD.

Connect iPad into your PC/Mac, and export the imovie project file onto desktop, generally, the exported file ends in .mov/m4v file extension.
Next, use a DVD burning program to burn and create a disc: http://www.appgeeker.com/convert/burn-mov-to-dvd.html it accepts/reads different type of formats.

Gents, Thanks for input. I have since found my original sketchy notes of a year ago and made sense of them.
In all, its turned out to be a 26 step process.
Have burned a DVD in Windows Media which plays in the laptop but not in my DVD player - says (No Disc) ?
I'll try to figure that one out.
Glad you worked it out, but I can tell you it should not be a 26-step process. :-)
I counted the number of clicks necessary.
If somebody has a 'Quick Start' (shorter) method, I'd sure like to know !
Don't forget I used Movavi which did the trick.

It is.
Step 1. Create Project in iMovie
Step 5. Connect iPad to PC
Step 16. Go to Movavi Video Converter
Step 26. Burn to DVD
Like I say ... if anybody knows of an easier method, please let me know. I have
another iMovie project to convert.
