Q: Ipod problems :(

I have this old ipod touch 2g and its has problems. When i open it is stuck on apple logo screen. When I jailbreaked it to open it it finally opened but was on ipod is disabled please connect to itunes screen. Its not my ipod but one given to me and i dont know password to it. When i plugged out my usb i saw the battery bar at full but somehow it went to empty and needs recharge. Than when i recharged it it went straight back to apple logo loop. I used both restore methods with recovery mode and dfu mode and i still get the apple logo loop please help me!!!
