I am not able to print a downloaded file, Adobe PDF. The print queue says it is sending data to the printer but nothing prints.

Not sure exactly what the problem is.
Have you tried opening the pdf in Preview or a word processing program and then Printing it..?
I have opened the file, I can read it on the monitor. I reset my printer as suggested in the help menu by going to preferences>select printer> delete>readd it. I have saved it to the desktop to try to print it from there, that also failed. My printer has no trouble printing other documents.
I'm stumped. Any more suggestions I am appreciative. thanks k

What program did you opened and read the pdf file in.
Does it not have a File > Print drop down menu...?
thank you for your detailed response. I have used the first example shown, select file from the menu and drop down to print. This will print the opening page of the document with my name and address, the actual data I need never gets printed. The queue says data being sent, but never prints. Also I have used the print icon that appears at the bottom, center of the document when you scroll your mouse down there. My printer button changes from green to yellow. There is no paper jam or ink issue. I have no problem with it unless it is an adobe file. Do I need to have some sort of conversion?
