You can get an older Mac at a reasonable price to run these old games in native Mac OS. Beware that some old
games will not play on PPC machines and require Macs with 030 or 040 processors.

John Madden 2000 had to use software acceleration to work at all, and it did not support CD swapping games like Riven. An open source version of Riven application was later made for Mac OS X. You are best off dealing with Macs that can boot into Mac OS 9, over those that use Classic.
