Remote App requests homesharing, works then doesn't! Help!

Hello!

I have a brand new Apple Extreme router... I have the latest firmware, latest updated itunes..etc.

When I launch the Remote App on my iphone (with updated ios and app) the app requests that I turn on homesharing.

If I go into itunes, turn it off and then back on, the app connects and controls my library. For a few hours max.

Then it will request me to turn on homesharing again.

I've rebooted everything over and over... I've disabled ipv6 on my network adapter... what could possibly be causing this thing to share one minute and not the next.

I've also gone into my windows firewall and all of the permissions are there for itunes.

Thank you very much for any help, running windows 8.1! This worked with my last router fine, so I know it can work... is there some setting on the extreme that needs tweaking?
