I can't add movie artwork in iTunes

I was trying to put on my son's school project (it's a movie) on his phone and he wants to add artwork, but when I tried to edit the info in "Get Info", iTunes didn't allow me to click on the artwork tab. It's sort of grayed out. Does anyone know how to fix this?
