One week old iPad mini retina is stuck syncing with iTunes on determining apps to sync.

I have a one week old iPad Mini w/Retina that is stuck syncing with iTunes at "determining apps to sync."

The iPad has the updated version of iOS and iTunes is also updated. It will sit at determining apps to sync for hours.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

You can always try resetting your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.

Try again to see if the problem persists.
