Q: resetting the printing system on Mac OS X v10/9/2

I downloaded the "Mavericks" software update and now I can't print on my Epson Stylus NX420. I tried following the instructions for resetting the printing system for previous versions, but it didn't seem to work. Anyone know what I shoud do?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)
