Q: my camera works with Facetime, but no longer shows when I try to make video calls on skype

I used to use Skype to make video calls, and I would like to continue this although I often make FACETIME calls. The camera is fine on FACETIME, but when I try to make a video call on Skype the option is no longer presented.

Can someone help with this problem?

MacBook Pro (15-inch Mid 2010), Mac OS X (10.7.2)

What version of Flash Player do you have installed?

If C F McBlob's good suggestion doesn't get your system sorted, consider the following:

Are you using the most recent Skype version that is compatible with your Mac OS X (10.7.2)?
