Why are my iphone and iPad losing battery so much faster lately. Ready to get rid of my phone and it is not old.

Why is my iphone dying so quickly? I used to get better battery life. Thinking of going back to a Droid. This phone is not very old.

If you use a lot of data consuming apps it will consume the battery life faster.

Here are some links to help with maximising your iPhone battery life:

One thing that you can do (which may be included in those links) is to double click the home butteon to turn off apps. Sometimes I'm surprised by how many apps are open & potentially using data & running down the battery. Maps/navigations seems to be 1 that may use data among others.

Just exiting an app by pushing the home button does NOT close the app!
