How do you use the iTunes Gift voucher??

I was given an ITunes voucher and I've redeemed it but it won't let me change my billing options to the credit of the voucher. I've been searching and trying my hardest to try and find a way to change the payment option but it hasn't given me any option to use the voucher. Help!
