Problem with album slideshows

Since I installed the latest update, I experience troubles to view slideshows of my albums: Iphoto always begins with the last picture and then shows them backwards: what do I do wrong ???

That's a p;roblem with iPhoto 9.5.1 and Mavericks. Album slideshows only work if the photos are sorted by Date, Title, Rating or Keyword. NOT if manually sorted.

To get what you want you'll have to use the slideshow mode of iPhoto for a manually sorted slideshow.

Sorry but this didn't help me at all: the purpose of the IPhoto-albums is to enable you to sort your pictures manually, which is very usefull.

When I do this, and then want to show the manually sorted album-pictures in a slideshow, this doesn't work anymore, whereas in the previous release of IPhoto it worked perfectly.

I even tried to replace the new version 9.5.1 by the former one, but this seems to be impossible too !

I thougt updates were meant to improve things, not to make them worse !!!

Slides can be manually sorted in a slideshow by dragging them in the thumbnail tray to the position you want them in.

Send a feature request to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html for manually sorted slideshows from albums.
