Q: OSX PROBLEM

hi, was trying to reinstall my mac Air, but it won't let me because a perviously different Apple ID to mine now was use to buy the OSX on Apple store. i'm no longer in contact with that person and i'm trying to reinstall OSX but it won't let me. LIL HELP.
