Q: deleting songs from icloud

Mar 24, 2014 8:54 AMby randers4,You can't delete a song from iCloud even if you do purchase iTunes Match. iTunes Match only allows you to delete the song from your iTunes Match account, not from iCloud.
You can't delete music from iCloud because it is not stored in your personal iCloud account. It's stored in the iTunes store. What you are seeing are links to your previous purchases in the iTunes store, allowing you to redownload them if you want to. You can't delete anything from your previous purchased list.
While you can't delete them from iCloud, you can prevent these songs from appearing in you song list by going to Settings>Music and turning off Show All Music. You can prevent them from appearing on your purchased list in the iTunes store app by hiding them in iTunes on your computer, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919.
